Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling

I've got two news for you guys today though: one bad news and one good news. Let's start with the bad news.
I haven't finished writing SPIKE yet.
And I honestly don't know when it will be finished - which oddly enough brings us to the good news:
I've made a new, major decision in the SPIKE story that I think a lot of you will be happy to hear. As usual I don't want to spoil too much, but there is a part in the story where Spike and Sam are separated from each other for quite a long while. I just wondering about the prediction of ENGLAND's olympic's. If what is being said, that a type of bomb is to be exploded in order to kill thousands of innocent people and that the government knows all too well about this. I am beginning to see a horrable trend even with our own 9/11 so called bombing. That this world is at the verge of destruction. Looking back at human history, with Germany killing off so many people during such a short life span and not just jews either. A large diverse of humans were killed. Looking back at human history, GOVERNMENTS were killing off many people but it seems that now our governments are doing it on a regular bases....

Yeppi!!! I can't wait for the end time that is predicted. I am sick of all this HATE n KILLING of children, women, n men. I am sick of seeing people starve to death while we seat back, eating our food and watching such death continue on. I am sick of seeing suffering because someone wants to make money.

Yes, it is time for a NEW WORLD ORDER but not Satan's.....................................................................

yeah, and i still believe that if governments would do their job like they were intended to do, they would not be stepping onto anyones toes but their own. they would leave the world alone and focus on their own people and government. i live in the United States and just now beginning to see how our government works without letting the people know that the rich are truely in control. they dectate the what's/where's n when's. and in doing so, people around the world hate us for it.

i can see helping people without a hidden agenda, but sadly, our government does not work that way. our so called 9/11 attack wasn't from outside our country but rather from our own government to start a war in the middle east countries. our own government killed thousands of innocent people just so the rich can get hold of the oil. but i see that it isn't really going their way. i am glad at that but also angered that oil prices are shooting upwards in cost to the people. i'm sorry to be so negative, but i know there is a lot of positive out there. one is meeting new friends just like you. i think such meetings are very important in a person life. it eases a lot of anger and pain we see in the world.

oh before i forget, thank you very much for the watch and thank you for my journal fav... you've made my day with that one. never had any of my short list of journals fav'd. thank you, thank you.

I too hate this fucking corruption going on everywhere these days. Governments suck. So I don't know if 2012 will be the end of the world or a possible new beginning. Maybe nothing will happen. 2012 might turn out to be some fake prophecy. Sorry to sound negative, but I'm still hearing different things about 2012. So I'm not sure what will happen before 2012 will be over.

you're not being negative. if you do not like something i don't see it as being negative, it is a feeling of anger over unjust causes governments brings and puts unto its own people and people over the world.

yeah, well 2012, not sure about it as well. i think in lines with what you are saying, something will change/ but i really think it has already changed just not openly to the masses. not until they or whoever announces the change. things will get worse cause history tells us that man can not govern themselves at all. wars, sicknesses, every thing that could go wrong does go wrong.
